We now have a thingy subject for Vietnamese crab soups, and that is one among our all time faves: banh da cua – delicate crab mince with brown rice noodle ($15). Clear broth and brown noodles, that are kinda like wholemeal fettucine – good chew and a pleasant change to your common rice noodles, fish balls, greens, betel leaf rolls, a pool of crab mince that basically flavours the soup, and a few fortunate dip bits of fried pork stomach. Briefly: a killer broth and a great deal of pleasurable bits. Superior.
